Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms 

The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these "Terms"), govern your access to and use of the website and the services, features, content or applications offered by or through the website (collectively with the website, the "Services"). 

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by all of the Terms. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, do not use the Services. 

2. Registration

 To access certain features of the Services, you may be required to register with the website and set up an account. 

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering with the website, working with your consultant, and keeping your account information up-to-date. 
• You are solely responsible for the activity on your account and must keep your account password secure.
•  You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. 
• In the use of the Services, you must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright or trademark laws). 

3. User Content 

The Services may provide areas where you or other users can create, post, or store content, messages, materials, data, information, text, music, sound, photos, graphics, video, or other materials ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. You understand that the Services allow you to access and view User Content from various sources and that the Services are not responsible for and do not endorse any User Content. 

4. Modification of Terms 

At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. 

5. Fees

• Services paid for are non-refundable and non-transferable unless in the case of the clause stated in section 7, points 4 and 5.
• Our prices are not fixed and may change at our discretion and with no prior notice to the public. Appointments paid for during the price change will be honoured.

6. Disclaimers 

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance. 

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the website or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the website, even if the website or a website authorised representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. 

8. Payment,  Cancellations and Refunds

You agree to pay the applicable fees for the Services provided.  

• We require full payment of services once you are invoiced; sent an online link payment or payment on the SLICs website.
• When payment is received, your  consultation session will be confirmed and booked. 
• We are unable to reserve or secure your preferred date until your payment is received.
• We do not accept cheque payments. Our preferred payment method is online or via bank transfer; our bank details are on your invoice.
• Request to cancel or reschedule your appointment must be made no later than 72hrs before the appointment. Any cancellation request or reschedule of appointment outside the 72hrs window will not be honoured.
• Incase of a serious incident, illness (e.g. police or hospital reports) or death, a refund may be applicable  (for an unused portion of the Service) with supporting evidence provided to SLIC.

9. Expenses

• Travel expenses (over 3 miles from SLIC's work location) incurred as part of the services delivered to you will be charged. This may include using trains, taxis, buses, airfares and car mileage. 
• Car mileage will be charged at 65p per mile. 
• Other miscellaneous expenses may be incurred as part of service delivery; SLIC will ensure this is communicated to you and invoiced accordingly. 

10. Termination and Cancellation of Service provision 

We may terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If we terminate or suspend your access to and use of the Service, you will be provided with a written statement and may request a refund where applicable. 

We may also terminate or suspend access to the Service for any reason at our sole discretion, including if you breach any terms or conditions of the agreement.

You may cancel your agreement with us at any time; if you choose to cancel your contract, you will not be entitled to refunds. You will still have access to the Service until the end of the agreement period/end date. 

11. Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the website and its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third-party providers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Services using your account.
